Sx/sx:

Skin cool, thin, hairless, pallor.
Lesions: regular, smooth, deep
Location: toes, feet, ankle

What is gout?
sx/sx:
Hyperglycemia, dehydration, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, fruity breath
What is DKA?
Skin breakdown from strep or staph.
Pain, swelling, warm, red.
Systemic: fever + chills
Tx: abx, compression, elevate 3-6" above heart
What is cellulitis?

Stool softener to prevent straining
