Why is it important to being able to ask for help?

Having support is important, and being able to have others help prevents you from handling hard situations alone.

Your friends are laughing, telling jokes, and not paying attention to the teacher. They try to get your attention, and want you to join in. How do you respond?

Because it is during class, it would be best to ignore them and remain engaged in the lesson. You could also shake your head "no" or make a quiet indication that you are not interested.
