What are the attendance extra credit points?
Students who have no more than one (1) absence AND participate actively will receive a two (2)-point increase to their final grade average. Starting at the third absence, each absence will result in one (1) point being deducted from their final grade average. After the fourth absence you will need to meet with me to discuss your situation. Five (5) absences may result in withdrawal from the course. Two lates = one absence.

• Students need to have regular, reliable access to a computer with a reliable internet connection.

• Students must be able to save scanned documents as .pdf or jpeg files.

What are the main requirements for the Career Exploration paper?
The paper should be typed, double-spaced, using a standard font style (Times, Times New Roman,
Century, Helvetica, Cambria, Calibri, etc.), 12-point type with 1-inch margins on all sides. The paper will be an MLA Style Paper with at least two cited sources and a minimum of 750 words (approximately 3 pages, double-spaced).

ONLINE CLASS: Please contact me as soon as you can to let me know of your situation. I will provide you with the call-in option into the synchronous session.
F2F CLASS: You have one free absence for this class. When you need to miss a class, it is best practice to email your professor and let them know and ask for any guidance on what you should work on. It is also a good idea to stay after class to touch base when you return as well.
