Is Euthanasia legal in the UK? What about other countries?

Euthanasia is against the law in the UK where it is illegal to help anyone kill themselves. 

As of 2022, euthanasia is legal in Belgium, Canada, Colombia, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Spain and all six states of Australia (New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania, Victoria and Western Australia).

Other countries such as Austria, Finland, and Norway allow passive euthanasia under strict circumstances.

Euthanasia for humans is illegal in the majority of the United States. As of June 2021, the only jurisdictions that allow this procedure are Oregon, Washington D.C., Hawaii, Washington, Maine, Colorado, New Jersey, California, and Vermont.
