  • Canada policy

  • Damage to the vehicle body or interior, even if the insured is not filing a claim for the other damage (ex. Vandalism)
  • If Vandalism damage is ONLY glass related this CAN be handled by LYNX, but if there is any other damage to the vehicle that is not GLASS only it will need to be handled by claims.

Contact the facility that currently has the customer’s vehicle and have the customer verbally tell them they can release the vehicle to the towing vendor. Obtain current and advanced charges by using the Towing and Storage Advanced Charges template to document the breakdown of charges and paste in the Assignment Instructions field in the Salvage tab in ECS..
