What are 5 of the benefits of hydroponics?

Why are they benifits?

  1. Saves water - With recirculating systems, we eliminate runoff

  1. Plants grow faster - By adding nutrients directly to the water rather than plants having to go search for them

  1. Saves space - Less spacing between plants because they don't need to compete for nutrients

  1. Grow in places you couldn't normally grow - Places like Hati where soil doesn't have much nutrients at all; places that don't have soil

  1. Plants grow up to 70% faster - By adding nutrients directly to the water rather than plants having to go search for them, leading to greater yields

  1. We can test the pH and EC of our water - This lets us know exactly how the plants are feeling

  1. In summary: Efficiency in space, water, yield, and growing time, increased control

For frames, how many braces do we add, where do we add them what size are they, and why do we add them?

We add two 36" trapezoid braces to opposite corners, flush with the back of the frame.

We add them to keep the frame from leaning, we only add two because that is what is structurally needed to keep the frame upright (adding more would be redundant.
