WWI veterans who asked the government for their bonus checks. Hoover said no and the veterans decided to camp out at the White House in protest. Hoover responded by sending the army and federal police to send the protestors away.

Supreme Court ruled that some of FDRs New Deal programs were unconstitutional (too much power!). FDR proposed a bill that allow him to add up to 6 justices to the USSC. It failed and was met with a lot of criticism.
