Tarquin refused again and she burned 3 more. She offered the last 3 books for the same price. Tarquin relented if only to save what knowledge was left.

Tell the story of Horatii brothers versus Curiatii brothers 

Refer to page 24 in history reader. Explain that Tullus Hostilius and king of Alba Longa wanted to save lives so it was proposed that three brothers from each city would fight each other. Horatius won by being clever. He ran away from the three Curiatii brothers (who had wounds of differing severity) and then dispatched them one by one. Oh- and he wasn't exactly nice to his sister when he returned home.

LTP was made guardian of Ancus Martius's sons. After A.M. died, LTP proposed to the sons that they go hunting to take their mind off their father's death. While sons were hunting, he gave the public a rousing speech on why he should be king. When the sons returned from their hunting excursion, they found LTP on the throne.
