How did liberalism and nationalism led to revolutions?

Answers will vary-liberals believed in freedoms, being ruled by a const. to guarantee rights, and were against an absolute monarch. Liberals would be willing to revolt if any of these beliefs were violated. Nationalists had a strong loyalty and pride in their nation and wanted their nation to be unified and under their own rule. If foreign powers threatened their beliefs, they were willing to revolt to protect these beliefs.
