My video won’t move over to ‘Game footage’ in my library”. Why is this?
They have some other event listed as “Game”, probably something stuck uploading/processing OR a tagging session without video that needs to be finalized
I am trying to submit my game to Assist and last year’s roster is showing up. Why?
The game is linked to a schedule event from last season. Update the linkage to the schedule event for the current season.
I submitted my film to Assist with the wrong jersey colors and now when it says my team and player names, it is actually the other team. Help!
1. Use the ‘Flip Teams And Players’ button on the Moments Viewer page.
2. Navigate to the video, change url from /explore to /tagging, flip the jersey colors in the tagging settings screen, and save.
3. Refinalize the tagging session from the legacy events page to have the auto-gen highlight updated with the new perspective.
What does the run graph mean?

I accidentally tagged the wrong player for a turnover and now they won’t get recruited to play in college. How can I correct this tag?
Right-click on the tag in the video and select Edit Tag.
My breakdown for my game is in the correct perspective, but some players for my team only show a number and not my athletes’ names. Can this be fixed?
(when the event is game footage): Yes! Direct coach through completing the Identify Athlete Workflow.
Bonus #1
Question: “Ok! The player I want to select isn’t showing up for me though. What now?”
Answer: That player is already tagged in the breakdown. We’ll need to help coach out by moving those tags to the correct player - this will let that athlete pull in for coach to select.
Bonus #2 What about when it is scout footage?
Answer: Is the event linked with the correct team id? No? Put the correct team id into the event, update the team ids in the JSON and Flip Teams and Players x2.
If the team ID was already correct, there is no further action to take. If that other team doesn’t have an up-to-date roster in Hudl, we cannot edit that, and so for properly linked scout footage, a state of “#13 Unknown Athlete” is the expected and correct terminal status.
I recorded in 1080p, but it’s not playing back 1080p in my library. What’s going on?
They’re not on a gold or higher (If they’re not getting the quality they expect, check out upload speeds and the source file to make sure their internet can handle it, and that they actually uploaded that quality)
My schedule entries are not showing up under the Events filters but I entered my entire schedule on the schedule page?
The schedule entries will not show up as a filter option until there is an event linked to that schedule entry.
Coach live tagged her game. When she goes in to watch the game, the stats are all there, but they don’t start until the 2nd quarter. How can we fix this?
If that doesn’t work, Shift all moments by (+ or -)
I submitted several scout films for my upcoming opponent but only a couple breakdowns are showing up for them on the Reports page. What’s up with that?
How is the event associated with a schedule entry? How did coach enter team 2 from the Assist submission page? Downstream from there, we likely have an incorrect team ID and name (or, just a different one from the other submissions) showing on the legacy event page. Resolve the issue by correcting the team ids and names.
I want to live tag my athletes during my basketball game. Its only showing me the option to tag team stats currently. Can I live tag with player stats?
No. Live-tagging only supports tagging teams, but after you upload your tags, you’ll be able to add the players into those tags when working from the web!
Currently, ~200 teams have a feature priv for iOS live player stat tagging enabled, but we cannot turn it on for anyone else as it has several known issues and won’t be a good experience for the team.
Why am I not receiving notifications when a video is shared with me like I do on my Football team?
Films are shared with ‘All Team’ by default. Notifications are only sent when a video is shared with a coach specifically and not sent with the default sharing
I accidentally ended the tagging session I was working on and need to finish tagging the game. Do I need to start over from the beginning or can I open the tagging session again?
Change the end of the URL on the video from ‘explore’ to ‘tagging’
I am looking at a report for my upcoming opponent and they have athletes listed that are not on their team. How can that be fixed?
Update the team ID’s in the JSON for the games with the incorrect athletes and flip the team and players twice on the Moments Viewer for those breakdowns.
I created a clip with an annotation and now my annotation has drifted from where I initially put on the clip. What is happening?
They likely created the annotation first and adjusted the start time of the clip after the annotation was created.
