This strategy is mainly used by most of the professional Puyo Puyo community to cteate huge chains fast.
What is GTR?
Uses quick drop, try to get to the star located at the bottom of the board first, clear big chains while attempting to do so to throw off the opponent's game.
What is Puyo Excavation?
Was first released in Puyo Puyo Quest, was a sealed away demon along with 4 others, and has chants that depict a royal-esque image.
Who is Sultana?
Was released in 1992, a remake of Puyo Puyo featuring entirely new characters from another franchise, and was made by Sega and released in America.
What is Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine?
In Puyo Puyo Tetris, this character is also voiced by the announcer in the Super Smash Bros. games.
Who is Dark Prince/Satan?
This new game mechanic made it so you couldn't die immediately from a 5-chain and had to make a bigger chain to destroy your opponent
What is Neutralization?
Combination of Tsu and Fever Rules, flips the board every 2-20 seconds, gives a bonus for making a flip chain
What is Spinner?
A character introduced during the Compile era, was brought back in Chronicles, and was picked on by Harpy for not having a good singing voice.
Who is Serilly/Seriri?
Made in 2001-2002, was the first puyo puyo game to be released outside of Japan, and was officialy known as "Puyo Pop" in the US.
What is Minna de Puyo Puyo?
This famous vocaloid character along with her friends has had many collaborations in the Puyo franchise and even has her own Puyo game made by Compile supposedly called "Puyo Puyo 39!".
Who is Hatsune Miku?
This mechanic will increase the amount of garbage puyo after the amount of time you select.
What is Margin Time?
Uses quick drop rules, Use items to throw off your opponent or benefit yourself, highest score at the end of the time limit is who wins.
What is Party?
A rival to Arle, likes to experiment with spells, and was a non-playable character in Puyo Puyo 7 although you can see her in a cutscene.
Who is Witch?
Released in 1996, features a new gamemode and a story mode with 3 protagonists, and was the first game to introduce uniques chain chants from a 1 to 7 chain to ALL characters.

This is the only character in ANY Puyo Puyo game that has actually sworn during the story mode.
Who is Incubus?
This noob level chain strategy is named after a character CPU that's famous for using this chain strategy of putting a stack of puyos on the left and right sides of the field.
What is Harpy Stacking?
Uses quick drop rules, can make rediculously high chain because of the continuous offestting you can continue to drop Puyos while a chain is active, attack bonus if you all-clear.
What is Active Mode?
Main antagonist, an alternate form of another character, and is searching for the other half of his spirit in hopes of re-uniting.
Who is Strange Klug?
Released in 2009, featured a story mode that showed how Compile-era characters traveres to the Sega-era characters dimension, and featured two cameo characters you couldn't play as.
What is Puyo Puyo 7?
This is also the only character in Puyo Puyo that is named after a mythological creature resembling a female house spirit.
Who is Kikimora?
This character is one of the easiest AI's to beat in most puyo games after the Compile-era because of the ludicrous strategies she uses. Her most famous one being not turing puyos.
