Call into the branch. Identify yourself and ask if a cash delivery is needed. If the response is last name/financial center name, wait for all-clear to be posted and enter the branch. If last name/financial center name is not given, end the call and immediately contact the police and protection services. Remain in your vehicle and be observant for any details which may assist law enforcement

What is the clean desk policy?

  1. Computer is locked anytime the employee leaves their immediate work area (teller station and/or office). 

  2. All customer specific information is out of sight to other customers and is secured or put in shred bin at the end of the day

  3. Bottom teller drawer or platform desk drawers are locked when not in use (tellers: bottom drawer at all times. TCR FC’s, only locked if cash is secured in second drawer)

  4. keys are not left in locks, but are kept with employees or locked under dual control at all times.

What is a UAR and where is it located?

Form is located on the company-wide links on the homepage of the HUB. It is used to report any suspicious or unusual activity from the business line (structuring, check kiting, ID theft, etc.)

What is the opening procedure for the Financial Center?

The inspecting employee will perform an exterior inspection of all financial center exterior walls, doors, windows, and ATM. Employees that do not drive should be a safe distance from the building and should be observing the Financial Center entrance With observing employee focused on the building (and located at least 2 parking spaces from the inspecting employee’s vehicle), the inspecting employee will enter the branch, check the premises, turn off alarm, and post the all clear. When all-clear is posted (manually and electronically), the observing employee (and any other employees that have arrived) may enter the branch.

What is the Closing Procedure for the Financial Center?

One employee (or more) shall remain inside the financial center while the other employee(s) exit the facility. Once the exiting employee(s) have reached a safe distance, the remaining employee(s) must arm the premise area before they exit the financial center. When all employees have reached a safe distance, all employees will then depart at the same time.
