A: Amount check. make sure that you have the correct number of items to go home (3 months,6months, etc)

How do we explain our check in process to Pet Parents?

"Go to Lineup.vippetcare.com or scan the QR code with your cell phone. Then search Lexington SC, make sure to select the Walmart location. Then you will be prompted to enter in your information. Make sure to go all the way until it tells you which number you are in line. Call us if you have any difficulty."

What is the minimal materials needed obtaining a pet from a pet parent?

Mask, gloves, ipad, rescue wipe, 2 leashes (if a dog, carrier if a cat.)

What do you do if while preforming the iPad check, the iPad and the product you physically have do not match?

Confirm which one is correct. If iPad, exchange for correct product. If the iPad is incorrect, adjust accordingly.

What should you do if your plan is not working for a pet?

If a client is upset that they can not be with their pet during services, what options can we give them to put them at ease?

1) have them go inside walmart to our window and watch services being done.

2) we can take pictures and email them.

What would you do for a dog that is showing Obvious Warning signs of a Dominant aggressive dog?


Explain to the owner that this is not the appropriate setting for their animal. Be sympathetic and just let them know it's not only for our safety but for the safety of their pet as well. Refer them to a Full Service Veterinarian

What is the Curbside policy for someone without a cellphone?

Have them park in a designated location. Manually enter them into line management (putting all zeros for their number) and then tell them that we will come back out and check them in when it is their turn.

*Remember to maintain 6 feet social distancing.

Talk me through proper sanitization of the clinic.

1)remove any debris 2)spray tables, counters and scales with Rescue 3) Allow rescue to sit on the surface for 1 minute. 4) Clean any other items used for pet services with Rescue wipe (iPads, wipe cabinets, wipe medical equipement used, phone, laptop.)

** Simparica yellow will have to be mail ordered. Inform the client of this and how long it should take to arrive to their location.

Demonstrate proper restraint for a happy dog for vaccines. 

You should always have proper control of their heads, and utilize the vaccine hold for this one. 


*Even if a dog is not actively showing signs of aggression, any dog can turn into an aggressive dog. Always be prepared for this.

If a Pet parent has tested positive in the past (and it have been past 14 days) or they have come in contact with someone who is COVID positive but are not displaying symptoms, what do we do?

Wear full PPE! 

Inform all staff members.
