They were also beaten badly, whipped,burned. Even if they had a child the owners would sell them and the parents couldn't do anything.

It ends after Presidential candidate Rutherford B. Hayes made a private deal with a southern Politician. After Reconstruction a new business began to rise in the South. But again the Southerners whites began to pass new laws to oppose African-American for their equal rights.
