What is a miss-level?

This is when an employee is hired or transferred to a specific level position but after some time the manager and HRBP realize that the responsibilities within the new role are more than expected. They decide to up level the position, but not as of the transfer or hire date, but after these events.

Once you have uploaded a batch of employees in EMS, what are the steps you should follow to review if the entries were processed correctly?

  • Click on Select query and choose the “Emp ID batch search (public)”
  • Open the filter by clicking on the small arrow next to the “Empl ID”
  • Enter the employee ID of all the candidates listed on the “Comp Slate Staging Import Template”
  • Add additional filters in to the search to display only the most recent employees added (use the date before the current one)
  • Click on Run Query to show all the tickets created related to the previous employee IDs entered. Check each ticket one by one to make sure the information reflected is correct and no errors are showing
