St. Patrick escaped back to Britain to become a priest but came back to Ireland to preach to the Irish people about the Catholic faith.

As they walked along, a third traveler joined them and asked them why they were upset. The disciples told him all about Jesus and how he had been crucified. They felt defeated because Jesus was dead and all their hopes were gone. They invited the third traveler to dinner where he explained the Scriptures to the disciples and broke bread with them. Then, the third traveler disappeared. He was Jesus and he had revealed himself to the two disciples.
