I want to make sure that I remain connected to AACC after I leave the facility so I do this.
What is talk to my therapist?
I want my supports and/or family to know more information about addiction so I talk with my therapist about this option.
What is the family program?
I do this when I am feeling sick and/or have a fever.
What is see nursing staff immediately?
These are completed in each wing regularly by staff.
What are room searches?
These meetings have required attendance and happen at night to help you get familiar with them.
On the alumni app I can do these things if I am struggling.

I should maintain this much distance from others while in common areas.

I am required to keep any food in my room in this location except sealed beverages.

These will come up every 30, 60, 90 days on my alumni app.
What are surveys about my progress and recovery needs?
I am encouraged to have a least one of these sessions prior to discharge.

Bathrooms are cleaned by housekeeping staff but this location is my responsibility to keep clean.
What is my room?
This is a time to work through differences with other peers and practice healthy communication regarding our needs or issues.
What is peer group? What is sunset peer group?
I can use these to learn more information about recovery and addiction on the alumni app.
What are videos?
This is a recovery group that I can suggest to my family for extra support.
Al anon and/or SMART recovery friends and family
I should wash my hands for how many seconds to help with infection control whenever I cough, sneeze, or use a tissue.
What is 20 seconds with soap and water?
This is where items that are not allowed in my room are kept.
What is nurses station?
I want to use the fire pit tonight. What should I do?

Addiction is a family disease so it is important that they also are encouraged to seek this.
What is healing/recovery? What is support?
Doing this in group rooms after the end of a group session helps us maintain a clean and healthy environment.
What is wiping tables with disinfectant wipes?
I am not allowed to provide any other resident with this item.
