1. Check students of same gender, from head to toe for mistakes that are not aligned with the school rules.
2.Request for pockets to be cleared entirely in their attire.
3. Step out of their shoes and jump up and down a few times.
4. Request students to shake their shoes upside down to prevent them from hiding any items that may be suspicious.
5. Demerits are issued for any prohibited items are confiscated.
6. Request permission to check their lockers with respect of others' belongings.

Ensure the students are kept quiet at all times, while lining up and standing up straight without communicating with their friends to prevent any plans of mischief.

1. First inform the teacher present in the classroom regarding the conduction of a spot check and obtain his or her permission to involve the students in the classroom.
2. Without the teacher’s permission, accept his or her rescission and come again later.
3. With the teacher’s permission, announce to the class regarding the conduction of spot check, request all students to leave their belongings, sweaters, jackets and blazers inside the classroom and form 2 lines according to gender, outside.
