Kinesthetic/Visual: Have students do a hands on lab, or help the teacher demonstrate during an experiment where the water is turning to gas (boiling), catching condensation etc. Could also have the class stand up and pretend to be molecules and show how they condense/expand as temperature changes.

Give three examples of how social media contributes to the deterioration of our mental health?

Social media can foster addiction, anxiety and depression. Platforms/algorithms are designed to reward distraction and keep us looking at the screen for long periods of time – at the expense of our wellbeing.

Creates anxiety when our self worth is determined by the reactions/comments of others and our perceived worth falls below our expectation.

Anxiety can come from cyberbullying or the realization that one might not be meeting "social norms."

Social media addiction can also drive a sedentary lifestyle and result in a lack of sleep which has a toll on our mental wellbeing.

Give three examples of how social media contributes to the polarization of democracy?

Content that yields high reaction (outrage, deception, and conspiracy) is promoted as a way to drive more engagement. Stronger ideological rifts make cooperation and compromise increasingly difficult and ultimately sabotages our democracy.

Social media also creates easier access to extremist content/groups.

People constantly mistake newsfeed posts or sponsored ads as real news.

While working on a muscular and skeletal systems essay for physical health, you've stumbled upon an article written by Nike about the important role shoes play in maintaining proper form and safety while running long distances. The article doesn't have sources cited, but it has some good diagrams and seems to compliment much of the information  you've found about foot muscle and bone function from other credible medical websites. Is this a good source of information for your report?

No. While the information may be true, it's not a scholarly source that you'd want to have cited in your paper. Plus, Nike's goal is ultimately to sell you shoes, so there is probably some inherent bias. If you've found credible information elsewhere, best practice would be to use that as your primary source.
