What is law?
This term refers to any group of people who identify with one another on the basis of a common purpose, need, or similarity of background.
What is culture?
The process of making clients aware of the risks, benefits, structure, and format of the counseling relationship. This begins during the first session and may be re-visited as needed throughout the relationship.
What is informed consent?
An approach to medicine and mental health that focuses on the multiple, interrelated ways biology, psychology, and social/cultural factors are conducive or detrimental to health and well-being
