CPSs never will threaten, harass, intimidate, use undue influence, physical or verbal force, make unwarranted promises of benefits to those they support.
Recognize that everyone is different,We can learn from ea. other CPSs will not practice, condone,facillitate, collaborate, in ANY form of discrimination on the basis of color, race,religion, national origin,gender sexual orientation, physical or mental disability, or any other persona, condition or state.
Will Advocate as a partner, let those they support make decisions on their matters and help them with such things.
Respect the privacy and cofidentiality of those they support
Advocate for the full interegration into the community of the supported person's choosing. Directed by the knowledge that people should have the right to live in the least restrictive and least intrusive environment they choose.
Will not enter into dual relationships or commitments that conflict with the interests of those they support.
CPSs will never engage in sexual or intimate activities with those whom they support, have worked with in a professional role in the last year.
CPSs will keep current with their knowledge and relevant things to recovery and openly share this knowledge with those they work with
Willnot engage in business, extend or receive loans from whom they work or accept gifts.
Willnot offer support while under the influence whether prescribed or not.
