No. ASL differs in grammar, uses facial expression, handshapes, and more. For this reason, interpretation can not be provided word-for-word.

Make and turn in a video recording that includes your slides. Email or "share" the video file with your teacher.
Is it okay to use your personal computer or borrow a classroom chromebook everyday?
NO. SUHSD's security software doesn't cover your personal computer. There is a limited number of loaners. If a loaner is borrowed on a daily basis, a parent will be contacted. It is your responsibility to bring your SUHSD-assigned chromebook to school on a daily basis.
Is it ever culturally appropriate for hearing people to give name signs?
No. It is only appropriate for Deaf people, in the Deaf community, to give name signs. A Deaf person often assigns a name sign to a hearing person after they get to know the person better. Name signs are based upon physical characteristics or personality.
What do you do if you missed a test or quiz, and when is the deadline?
Email the teacher for a lunch time appointment. Deadline: Two weeks from the original test or quiz date.
