Stop, Do not Panic, Line up quietly, Follow the teacher outside, Listen for instructions and Go to your designated zone location.
What kinds of Emergency kits can we find on walls throughout the buildings?
First Aid Kits, NARCAN overdose kits, CPR, AED defibrillators and Stop the Bleed Kits.
What would you do if someone wanted you to let them in a side entrance?
Deny entrance and direct them to the front entrance where our security staff will assist them. Also notify building administration.

Eight evacuation drills and four lock-down drills each year. They also have to be conducted at different times of the school day.
Should you attach your keys to all buildings with your ID work badge?
NO! If you were to lose your badge you would not want anyone to have access to your ID badge and keys.

Are you allowed to come to work after being exposed to COVID-19?
Yes, however masking is recommended through day 10 along with testing for at least five days after being exposed.
Are you allowed to bring in any personal appliances, furniture and chemicals to work?
No! All furniture, appliances and/or chemicals brought into any building must be cleared by the district.
How do we ensure safety for hazardous materials (ex. chemicals, antimicrobial pesticides, etc.)?
Hazardous materials should be properly labeled and in a secure location. They should also be EPA approved (Page 15)
What should you do if you see a door propped open to the exterior of the building?
Close the door immediately and contact your administration so that they can be made aware.
How does BOCES help local school districts?
BOCES help school districts save money by pooling their resources and sharing costs. BOCES services are created when two or more school districts have similar needs that can be met by sharing staff, office space, equipment and time. Sharing eliminates duplication and allows schools to operate more efficiently and cost-effectively.
What should you do if you accidently spill something or notice a spill that you cannot immediately clean up?
Please ask for custodial assistance, do not place anything over the spill.
