Once a student is name a National Merit semifinalist, how does he or she earn the title of National Merit finalist?
Fill out an application, take the SAT and make a comparable score from their PSAT, and submit their transcript to the National Merit corporation. If all of those things “line up” then the student qualifies as a National Merit finalist.

The SAT is given on national test dates on Saturdays. BA is a test site. Go to sat.org to sign up. The dates and prices are on your syllabus.
