Word for word taken from the text as evidence. In quotation marks and with a citation. In the text it says "the sky is blue" (Authors Last Name Pg#).
What is plagiarism?
When you take someone else's work without permission. You don't include a citation.
What is paraphrasing?
Words taken from another text that you put into your own words. Not word for word. Does not need quotation marks. Must have a citation still.
