A TM is calling about wanting a pay review. They talked to their manager and their manager sent them to us. How do we help? 

We send them back to their manager. Please be advised all pay inquires must go through your manager and they will be more than happy to assist. I understand you already spoke with them but please let them know if they have any questions they can reach out to their HRBP or to us and we can point them to their correct HRBP. 

We do not inform them of a compensation review form as that is no longer applicable

What is changing for 2023 OE? 

Spending accounts (HSA, Medical FSA and Dependent Care FSA) will be administered by WEX. 

 

AFLAC supplemental plans will be administered by Unum. With the exception of Whole Life, any 2022 AFLAC elections will be automatically enrolled in the equivalent UNUM plan. 

 

If you are enrolled in AFLAC Whole Life and would like to change to or add UNUM Whole Life, you will need to enroll in the UNUM whole life plan. 

 

If you would like to continue your AFLAC coverage through direct bill, please reach out to AFLAC at 800-433-3036. 

 

Aetna HDHP Choice Plan Deductible Increase – The Tier 1 family deductible, the embedded individual deductible is increasing to $3,000 (from $2,800) because the IRS has increased the minimum deductible amount to be eligible for a Health Savings Account (HSA). There will be no change to the overall family deductible of $4,000.

You forward the email (because there is an attachment)and put askHR and the manager in the TO section. You then inform the manager you are sending this to our Hr Specialist team to handle.  You then drag that reply into the HR Specialist folder and the original email into the DONE folder.

What are the two things you will remind them of that must be changed and will not roll over for this year? 

This Open Enrollment is a passive enrollment. If you are not making changes to your elections, there is nothing you need to do with the following exceptions: 

If you contribute to an FSA or HSA you need to make your election for 2023 because spending account elections to not roll over. 

If you want to continue your Whole Life coverage through UNUM, you will need to re-enroll using the UNUM link.

A TM calls in and says their SSN is wrong. You go to update it in the system but see there is a pending I9 action for them. What do you do? 

If we are trying to edit something for a TM (example their SSN is wrong) and you are unable to do so because of a pending I9 action please send an email to HR Ops letting them know the SSN needs to be updated to X and we are unable to edit due to a pending I9. Please do not ask them to cancel the I9 action. Please also CC employee health on any I9 pending action emails!

How are claims processed for my dependents who live out of state? 

If you have dependents who live out of state, claims with Aetna providers are covered at the Tier 1 level. The dependent’s address in Workday must reflect the out of state address for claims to process properly.
