The first phase of wraparound is called Engagement. We take a month to a month and a half to get to know the family (their culture, values, natural support system, where they've been, what helped and didn't, and the Initial Conditions).

Why does it take so long to get started?

500

This is the last phase of wraparound; it can be anywhere from an immediate action step to a 6 month plan of reducing "services" and developing community and natural supports.  Once we settle into the Plan Implementation Phase, and behaviors are reduced, we discuss a plan for transitioning successfully.

What is Transition?
