Why are food labels important? Why are they required on every item put on a shelf?

Food Labels are required for the customer to be informed on what they're buying and eating. They have gone through many changes throughout the years, they're always changing. But without the customers knowing what exactly is in their items. If they were then companies would be able to get away with putting whatever they wanted in them.

Yes, it is, don't overwork yourself too much, doing too much physical activity can result in health risks like obesity, heart disease, and a multitude of other chronic diseases.

They support not certain bodily functions; they support ALL of the body. If you have an insufficient amount of a certain Micronutrient, you get a deficiency, and even small deficiencies can be lethal. Make sure you're getting a good amount of Micronutrients everyday.
