A food chain

200

What is an example of an abiotic fact in an ecosystem?

Soil, water, air

sun-flower-bunny-wolf

producer, consumer, secondary consumer

400

Explain how you know the energy in animals was once energy from the sun.

The sun is the beginning of every food chain, so in order for anything to grow or begin, the sun has to start it. Once the sun helps the producer grow, a consumer eats to producer, which started from the sun. If a secondary consumer eats that consumer, it is still getting energy from the sun because the consumer it ate got it's energy from the sun.

400

A network of food chains that have links in common are called ______.

What is a food web
