What is sin?
Why must the Redeemer be truly human?
What is prayer?
A pouring out our hearts to God in praise, petition, confession of sin, and thanksgiving.
What is etiquette?
the customary code of polite behavior in society or among members of a particular profession or group
When leaving/entering how should we be?
Waling quietly, NOT RUNNING
What does God require in the fourth and fifth commandments?
Fourth, that the Sabbath day we keep holy,
Fifth, we love and honor our mother and father
How can we be saved?
Only by faith in Jesus Christ and in his substitutionary atoning death on the cross; so even though we are guilty of having disobeyed God and are still inclined to all evil, nevertheless, God without any merit of our own but only by pure grace, imputed to us the perfect righteousness of Christ when we repent and believe in him.
Where is Christ now?
Christ rosed bodily from the grave on the third day after his death and is seated at the right had of the Father, ruling his kingdom and interceding for us, until he returns to judge and renew the whole world.

When should we arrive?
How can we glorify God?
Enjoying him, loving him, trusting him, and by obeying his will, commands, and law.
What is faith in Jesus Christ?
Acknowledging the truth if everything that God has revealed in his Word, trusting in him, and also receiving and resting on him alone for salvation as he is offered to us in the gospel.
How does the Holy Spirit help us?

What does God require in the 6, 7, 8 commandments?
6. love our neighnor
7. abstain from sexual immorality
8. do not steal
What do Justification and Sanctification mean?
Justification- our declared righteousness before God, made possible by Christ's death and resurrection for us.
Sanctification- our gradual, growing righteousness, made possible by the Spirit's work in us.
What is the Lord's Prayer?
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom the power and the glory forever and ever. Amen
How and when should we speak?
Unless asked, we should only speak to others during the peace. But if needed to speak we should whisper
When being downstairs how should we act?
How and why did God create us?
God created us male and female in his own image, to know him, love him, live with him, and glorify him
Where does faith come from?
All the gifts we receive from Christ we receive through the Holy Spirit, including faith itself.
With what attitude should we pray?
When should we be on our phones?

we should be reverent and ready to accept the sacrament
