The layer closest to the surface where most weather is found.
What is the Troposphere?
Air at a low pressure system moves this way.
What is counterclockwise and inwards?
This type of air mass is dry and warm.

When a warm air mass replaces a cold air mass.
What is a warm front?
Periods of little to no rain.
What is a drought?
The temperature in the troposphere does this with altitude.

These winds are found between 0 and 30 degrees.
What are the trade winds?
This type of air mass is very cold and dry.
What is continental Arctic?
When a cold air mass replaces a warm air mass.
What is a cold front?
When water rises rapidly with little to no warning
What is a flash flood?
This layer of the atmosphere is where you would find weather balloons and some clouds.
What is the stratosphere?
These winds are found between 30 and 60 degrees.
What are the prevailing westerlies?
This type of air mass is cold and damp.
What is maritime polar?
This front brings long periods of light to moderate precipitation.
What is a stationary front?
Hurricanes are fueled by this.
What is warm water?
This is found in our atmosphere and absorbs UV rays from the sun.
What is the Ozone Layer?
These winds are found between 60 and 90 degrees.
What are the polar easterlies?
This type of air mass is cold and dry.

When a cold front overtakes a warm front

When sharpley divided cold and warm air meet, you could get one of these to form.
What is a tornado?

These clouds usually indicate the weather will be warming up soon.
