24 is a show in which each episode takes place in real time and depicts one hour of the day for each episode. It follows counter terrorism agent Jack Bauer as he deals with assassination attempts, nuclear attacks, bioterrorism, torture, traitors, sleeper cells, other bad guys. The show is mostly shot on location. In the first episode, Jack is called because there is a threat on the life of a US senator who is running for President. He has to protect him and find the people responsible of the threat throughout the season.
