Summer is a time that most people vacation and there
is no better place to spend some time in the summer
than West Beach. It is a beach with light- colored, soft
sand with many miles of beautiful coastline. Many
people enjoy walking the shore, and children like to play
in the surf and walk along the rocks that are visible at
low tide. Because of the gentle but big waves, West
Beach is also popular with beginning surfers. The
annual Beach Festival takes place on West Beach’s
boardwalk. The festival has rides, games, and great
food. This is a fun beach for people of all ages.
