What is the Duty Phone requirements?
All building occupants, including staff should evacuate the building. You should assist in crowd control while awaiting re-entry to the building. All RAs present on the scene should consult with one another, call the Hall Director On Duty, and submit a Non-conduct report

Use de-escalation skills. Inform the students that you need to call Public Safety. If non-compliance persist, call the Hall Director on Duty to request additional assistance. Submit Student Conduct Referral within 12 hours of the incident with all that has been observed. Remember, reports are objective. This is not an opportunity to express your frustration with the behavior.

What is..1)Call Hall Director 1 to consult. 2)Support the student and ask questions to gain a better understanding of the emergency. 3)If there is any evidence that harm is imminent or has occurred (i.e. report of taking medication outside what is prescribed) call Public Safety. 4)Follow up on any reports from other members of the residential community by speaking directly with the student of concern. 5)Confirm the Hall Director will be submitting a CARE report. Submit an NCR clearly documenting the incident.
