This field trip location takes fun with STEM to a whole other level. Don’t think learning is fun? Thank again. Here you’ll explore space, uncover secrets about dinosaurs, delve into the depths of the oceans, build and use physics bending gadgets, travel through time, play with electricity, and much much much much more.

What is COSI?

200

This activity required your gentlest handling of a situation but also required you to provide loads of support where needed. We sure hope you all stepped UP TO this task but didn’t step ON this task.

These two advisors have pet dogs.

Jeffrey and Mary

300

These people are really cool, fun, and smart. Their role is to help you learn many new things in an entertaining way. They also work hard to help you realize your talents and abilities and to be proud of who you are.

Adult Advisor

Where we spend the majority of time doing STEMPossible activities.

The STEAM Lab.

400

At this site, we tried not to hit a dummy and also had to hold our breaths due to really strong smells!

SEA Limited

400

Rolling into the STEAM lab with a wagon full of critters, this organization had a guest speaker come and teach us about her friends. Or as they refer to them, animal ambassadors. Turtles, rats, flying squirrels, snakes, oh my!

Ohio Wildlife Center
400

This advisor has a knack for puzzles and games. Good luck beating them if you’re up for the challenge. It’s quite fitting for their degree in Mechanical Engineering.

What is Jeffrey?

400
These two people are United Way staff.
Brande and Lauren
500

This happens during the last 5 minutes of STEMPossible. You help put materials away and make sure your seat is neat.

Clean up time.

500
This is where we road around in a car and saw different types of safari like animals.

The Wilds.

500

This aptly named robotic activity features rolling chaos (sometimes controlled chaos). Block coding? Yes. Taped courses on the floor? Yes. A very difficult nationwide competition? Yes. Questioning your sanity while just trying to make it do the same thing twice in a row? Yes.

Spheros

500

This advisor really likes two subjects which are very different from each other. In fact, these two subjects utilize opposite sides of the brain. This person has a college degree in one of the subjects but not in the other.

Mary (Art & Math)

500

This role is likely considered the best of all of them. By far the easiest too. This role is expected to participate in every activity. Expected to learn and absorb everything they can. And expected to socialize and make friends. Without this role, the club just wouldn’t be a club.
