What is SAB in the Folsom Cordova Unified School District and how can you get involved?
The Student Advisory Board (SAB) is committed to supporting the mission of the Folsom Cordova Unified School District by serving as a liaison between students and the Board of Education. Our primary focus is to foster a community by gathering students' feedback and concerns to give them a voice, promote unity through district-wide discussion/collaboration, and recommend courses of action to improve the Folsom Cordova Unified School District. We highlight the importance of our school's safety campuses, policies, dress code, and the emotional/mental well-being of our students.
The Student Advisory Board is comprised of representatives from each secondary school in the Folsom Cordova Unified School District. The Student Member of the Board of Education presides over the Student Advisory Board's monthly meetings and keeps open communication between students and the Board.
