What is a legal drug?
Responsible for notifying supervisor of any drug or medication that may affect or impair his/her judgement, job performance or safety.
Who is the employee?
A drug that is not prescribed to the user, used incorrectly or has expired.
What is an illegal drug?
These are confidential. However, for Corrections and CDL, if positive, must be reported to a higher entity.
What are drug test results?
Derived from hemp and is not regulated by the FDA and may have THC which can result in a positive drug test.
What is CBD?
If an employee tests positive for certain drugs, the MRO will contact the employee for this information that would enable them to use this drug legally.
What is a prescription?
Natural drugs from the poppy plant such as heroin or synthetic drugs such as fentanyl as well as painkillers such as oxycodone.
What are opioids?
The kind of test administered when there is reasonable suspicion of alcohol misuse.
What is enzyme oxidation methodology?
A synthetic opioid that is up to 50 times stronger than heroin and up to 100 times stronger than morphine.
What is fentanyl?
This is required when an employee has been involved in, caused or contributed to an accident and a person is injured requiring medical attention.
What is a post-accident drug test?
