What can we say if a FBA seller is having issues with missing prime Badge ?

- Not all the Fulfillment Centers are Prime FCs, meaning that depending on the fulfillment center location, the listings may not be eligible for the Prime offer.

- If the customer is located on a place in which the delivery times are longer than two days on items that ship by ground or have delayed availability, the Prime badge may get removed. Examples include items in: Small and Light (SnL), FBA Dangerous Goods, or Heavy/Bulky items. 

- If you are not using a buyer account with a Prime membership, the Prime badge may not be shown.

- If the delivery date is more than 4 calendar days, we will remove the Prime badge.

- If the product is under any special program like the ones mentioned above, we may remove the Prime badge.

What is the target for valid tracking rate ?

The valid tracking rate requirement currently in effect is 99% or higher.

What happens if I'm enrolled in the program and can't meet the requirements?

The first time that you don't meet a requirement, you'll get an email alert.

If you don't meet that same requirement a second time, you'll get an email notice, and Prime listings will be paused for your account.

If you don't meet the requirement for a third time, you'll get an email notice and your enrollment will be revoked.

How many orders does a non-Prime seller ( trial seller ) have to ship to be part of Prime?

When can we find Automated handling time ?

  1. On Seller Central, go to Settings, select Shipping settings, and then select General shipping settings.
  2. Scroll down to Handling time and click Edit.
  3. Select Automated handling time and click Save.

What if a seller wants to open a SAFE-T claim for an order of $6000

Reimbursements for a single order will not exceed $5000. For items valued at more than $5,000, we suggest that you purchase third-party insurance.

Why do I need to go through a trial period before I can have the Prime branding on my offers?


The Seller Fulfilled Prime trial ensures the seller’s offers can consistently meet the high standards of Prime speed and reliability.

The on-time delivery requirement currently in effect is 93.5% or higher.

How do I unenroll from Seller Fulfilled Prime?

From the settings drop-down menu in Seller Central, select Shipping settings

  1. Select General shipping settings
  2. In the Premium shipping programs section, select Control Prime order volume
  3. In the Enable/Disable Prime section set to Prime offers disabled

Then, contact Selling Partner Support to request that your account be removed from the program.

If you have same-day handling time with an order cut-off time of 12 p.m. and you receive an order on Monday at 11 a.m. When do we need to ship and confirm the order ?

That order must be shipped and confirmed on the same day the order was received

Can a seller open a SAFE-T claim if they have open ( AtoZ or chargebacks ? 

No, Orders with an A-to-z Guarantee claim are not eligible for SAFE-T claims (you have the ability to Appeal an A-to-z Guarantee claim).

How do I remove the Prime badge from my listings?

  1. If you disabled Prime offers for all items, go to Settings > Shipping settings > General shipping settings > Control Prime order volume and verify if the Enable/Disable Prime option is set to Prime offers disabled.

Seller Fulfilled Prime performance requirements?

  • On-time delivery of at least 93.5%
  • Valid tracking rate of at least 99%
  • A cancellation rate of no more than 0.5%
  • Delivery speed as defined below

What pre-qualifications are required to start the Seller Fulfilled Prime trial?

  • Have a domestic US address as your default shipping address
  • Have an Amazon Professional selling account
  • Meet the following criteria over the past 90 days:
    • Self-fulfilled at least 100 packages
    • Cancellation rate less than 2.5%
    • Valid tracking rate greater than 95%
    • Late shipment rate less than 4%

If an order is received on Monday at 4 p.m and the cut of time is at 11 am.  When do we need to ship and confirm the order ?
