There are tons of rides at Disneyland that are inspired by Walt Disney Company movies, such as every ride on the Avengers Campus. However, there are some rides and areas that actually inspired movies rather than the other way around. These include Tomorrowland, Pirates of the Caribbean, Indiana Jones, Jungle Cruise, and Haunted Mansion.

Indiana Jones existed as a movie first, then a theme park ride.

What's wrong with these A-ha lyrics?

🎵 We're talking away...I don't know what I'm to say
I'll say it anyway...Today is another day to find you
Shyin' away...Oh, I'll be comin' for your love, okay

Take on me (Take on me)
Take me on (Take me on)
I'll be gone...In a day or twoooooooooooo🎵

The second 'Take me on' :)

The American Dental Association recommends brushing your teeth in the morning and in the evening for two minutes using a toothbrush with soft bristles.

Brushing right after meals is also encouraged, as is flossing once a day. It doesn't matter if the floss is waxed, unwaxed, or mint.

It is NOT recommended to brush right after a meal, as some acids/enzymes present in food may leave your enamel more exposed for up to an hour after eating, which could lead to scraping off enamel if brushed.

Dentists do recommend brushing after meals, but waiting about an hour before doing so.

In Stranger Things, the younger characters in the series create names for the monsters they face each season, most of which are named after monsters from Dungeons and Dragons (with the exception of the most recent villain, Vecna). Another concept borrowed from D&D is the Upside Down, which is a parallel shadow dimension that monsters like the Demogorgon come from.

Vecna is also from D&D!

The Lion King (1994) was a triumph for the Walt Disney Company, earning critical acclaim for its music, story, themes, and animation. To this day, it is still the highest-grossing traditionally-animated film to date.

The film has led to many derived works, including a Broadway adaptation; one follow-up film, The Lion King II: Simba's Pride; two television series, The Lion King's Timon & Pumbaa and The Lion Guard; and a photorealistic remake in 2019.

There are two other films to mention: The Lion King 1.5 (2004) and The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar (2015). Bonus 100 points if anyone knew about the second one, because I definitely did not.

In 2021, artists Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak created R&B/Soul duo Silk Sonic, starting the year off with their debut single Leave the Door Open. The single was wildly successful, and it was not long afterward that the pair announced their collaborative album An Evening with Silk Sonic, which released in November of the same year.

The album was the most acclaimed work that either artist had ever released, compared to Mars' 5 prior albums and .Paak's 3.

The numbers at the end are switched. Bruno Mars has only released three studio albums on his own, whereas Anderson .Paak has released five (this includes Yes Lawd!, which he released in 2016 as part of another duo called NxWorries).

Newborn babies have a number of physiological differences that distinguish them from slightly older babies. Newborns don't cry tears until a few weeks after birth, can't breathe through their mouth until 3-5 months after birth, and can't taste salt until 5 months after.

Babies can breathe through their mouth earlier than 3-5 months after birth, on one condition: if they are crying. Otherwise, they have no reflex to do so and must breathe through the nose until enough time has passed.

In The Office, Steve Carrell portrays Michael Scott, who works as a branch manager for the fictional paper company Dunder-Mifflin. Michael was one of the show's main characters for about half of the series, before his character leaves the company to live with his partner Holly.

For the rest of the series, Michael and his antics are often referenced by the remaining characters. In the series finale, Michael actually returns for a brief part of the episode, and he only has one line. He says his catch phrase: "That's what she said."

Carrell was part of the main cast for more than half of the series. Michael leaves towards the end of Season 7, and the show only ran for two more seasons without Michael.

In Tangled, Rapunzel is born with healing powers of unknown origin. Her powers cause her hair to glow when she sings, and her hair can heal wounds and bring youth (maybe eternal youth) to others.

Rapunzel is abducted by Mother Gothel and brought to a secluded tower far from her royal family and her true home. Gothel keeps Rapunzel there and raises her as her own, secretly using her hair to stay young. This continues until Rapunzel's 18th birthday, when she meets Flynn Rider and decides to leave the tower.

Rapunzel's powers are not of unknown origin. Her powers come from a very rare flower that Mother Gothel tries to harvest at the beginning of the movie. The flower is instead found by royal guardsmen and used to brew a healing tea for the queen, who fell ill while pregnant with Rapunzel.

Since 2010, three female artists have earned the Billboard Hot 100 Year-End No. 1 Song. These artists include Ke$ha for "Tik Tok" in 2010, Adele for "Someone Like You" in 2011, and much more recently Dua Lipa for "Levitating" in 2021.

Two possible answers:

Adele's No. 1 song in 2011 was actually "Rolling in the Deep"

There is one other female artist who could be included in this list: Kimbra, as featured in Gotye's "Somebody that I Used to Know"

The fastest animals of the land, sea, and air are the cheetah, the sail fish, and the peregrine falcon respectively. All three of these animals can keep up with cars on the freeway, with the falcon reaching a top speed of 56 mph, the fish reaching 58 mph, and the cheetah speeding to the front at 70 mph. Even the second fastest land animal, the Pronghorn antelope, can outrun the sea and the air animals with a sprint of 60 mph.

The peregrine falcon can reach diving speeds upwards of 200 mph. Even as the fastest land animal, the cheetah is at least #5 on the list of fastest animals, being outsprinted by at least 4 species of bird.

Around this time last year, two major labor unions in the film industry went on strike against the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers. These unions were the WGA, representing thousands of actors, and SAG-AFTRA, representing thousands of writers.

The months-long strikes occurred due to a number of issues including intellectual property rights, lack of residuals from films/shows on streaming services, and the prevalence of AI and synthetic media in Hollywood.

The WGA (Writers Guild of America) represents writers, while SAG-AFTRA (Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists) represents actors.

WALL·E is set in the 29th Century on Earth, which is a trash-strewn wasteland free of biological life. All humans have been evacuated by the megacorporation Buy n Large to space on giant starliners, leaving trash compacting robots to clean up the planet. Thousands of these robots, including WALL·E, continue to 'clean up' the planet when the movie opens.

WALL·E eventually meets another robot named EVE, immediately taking a liking to her and following her into space as a result. WALL·E stows away on a probe ship which takes him and EVE to a human mothership, the Axiom. On the ship he meets dozens of humans and robots, many of which cause him problems in his pursuit of EVE.

There are not thousands of robots cleaning up the planet at the start of the movie. As far as we can tell, WALL·E is the last functioning trash robot on Earth at the start of the film.

Guitar strings are tuned in ascending fourths, meaning that from low to high, each string is tuned as the perfect fourth of the previous string (ex. the second string 'A' is three whole tones higher than the first string 'E'). The standard tuning of a six-string guitar is EADGBE, with the first and last strings being the same note at different octaves.

The one exception to the ascending fourths rule is the fifth string, 'B.' Rather than being tuned as the perfect fourth of the previous string, it is tuned as a major third. G-A-B.

Due to Earth's distance from the Sun and its rotation speed, it has some of the shortest day and year cycles in the solar system. While Earth and Mars take 24 and 25 hours respectively to complete one rotation (one rotation = one day), large planets like Jupiter take thousands of hours to rotate fully.

When it comes to the year cycle, which refers to a complete revolution around the Sun, the same is true. Earth takes about 365 days, whereas farther planets like Saturn take over 10,000 days (about 30 Earth years) to revolve around the Sun.

Jupiter's day cycle is actually shorter than Earth's because it spins much faster. The same is true for every planet farther than Mars: Jupiter's day is 10 hours, Saturn 11, Uranus 17, and Neptune 16. Mercury and Venus actually spin incredibly slowly, with Mercury's day taking 1,400+ hours and Venus's taking 5,800+.

Near the end of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, Luke Skywalker duels Darth Vader in the underbelly of Cloud City. Their fight begins in the chamber where Han Solo was frozen in carbonite, and ends on a small bridge hanging over a huge chasm.

After cutting off Luke's hand, Vader tries to coerce him into joining the Dark Side, telling him "Luke, I am your father." Rather than joining him, Luke is in denial about the revelation and chooses to fall into the chasm rather than be captured.

Darth Vader's line is actually "No, I am your father." This is in response to Luke's line "He told me you killed him," referring to Ben Kenobi's lie to Luke regarding the fate of his father.

Over the last decade, Disney has started re-using some of its original Disney princesses/heroes for new films, adapted for new audiences. These films are Maleficent (2014) which featured Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella (2015), Beauty and the Beast (2017), Aladdin (2019), Mulan (2020), and The Little Mermaid (2023).

Two possible answers:

The majority of Disney princesses are featured in Ralph Breaks the Internet (2018), the sequel to Wreck-It Ralph.

Sleeping Beauty appears again in Maleficent: Mistress of Evil (2019).

Blood transfusions are life-saving procedures, but there are several rules related to blood-type that donors should know about. The different blood types are A, B, AB, and O, and these may have a positive (+) or negative (-) depending on the presence of the Rhesus (Rh) factor in the blood. Donors with an Rh-positive blood-type can donate to other + folks, while Rh-negative donors can donate to other negatives.

People with type A may donate to recipients with an A in their bloodtype (A or AB), and the same rule applies for type B. Type O folks can donate to anyone, as they are the universal donor. ABs are universal recipients, meaning they can receive from any blood type.

For people donating plasma instead of red blood cells, all of these rules are reversed.

The Rh rules are incorrect. Rh-negative blood can be given to Rh-negative patients, while both positive and negative blood may be given to positive patients.

In Captain America: Civil War, two sides of superheroes are turned against one another due to disagreements about the Sokovia Accords, a document proposed by the UN that would heavily sanction the Avengers' jurisdiction. At the same time, Captain America and Bucky are trying to apprehend Helmut Zemo and stop him from waking up a group of cryogenically-frozen Super Soldiers in Siberia.

The conflict comes to a head when Iron Man, Cap, and Bucky converge on Siberia, only to find that the Super Soldiers are still sleeping and that Zemo lured them into a trap. The three are shown video footage of Bucky killing Tony Stark's parents, inciting a fight between them.

The Super Soldiers were not still sleeping, and were actually dead when the heroes found them. They were all killed in their sleep by Zemo, who rationalized by saying he would not want any more superpowered people like Bucky out in the world.
