Product Integrity and making sure product arrives exactly as it was loaded is something we take pride in. There are certain measure we take before every load we dispatch, like getting pitcures of a clean trailer showing an in-tact air chute with no hole or rips, pictures of temp sets to ensure the trailer is set on the correct temp, continuous setting, and the box temp is cooling down when we have our drivers pre-cool their trailers. All of this is done before releasing pick-up numbers.

Relate The bottom line is very important, but it causes more issues for you and your customers when product arrives late or damaged, and these measures we take for our customers has saved hundreds of dollars, and hours or headaches.

Anchor – I imagine having your own trucks must make load coverage way easier.

Disrupt – I work with companies like Starbucks and Kroger, who also own their own trucks, and where I help is when they have lanes that have no backhauls, drivers get sick, or when trucks break down.

Ask – When there is an emergency load that needs to get covered, how do you select a carrier?

“WE HAVE OUR OWN TRUCKS?”

We work with committed carriers who are loyal to us and our customers, which helps keep rates consistent and as low as possible. Therefore, on average, we have been able to show our customers 10-15% savings from the spot market, and even more on most of their contracted lanes. In some cases, our spot rates are $200-$800 lower than their contracted carriers.

Relate I understand we are both in a business, but I would like to quote a few of your lanes in order to see if I fit within your budget, but also fair to me and my quality carriers.

Pricing

400

Anchor – 10-4, I totally get it. Working with Asset’s is not only cost effective, but it also allows a great line of communication to your trucks.

Disrupt – Some of my customers started out telling me that they too preferred asset based companies, but I ended up winning some of their business by offering competitve rates, and better service.

Experience
