What is a relation?
A property of mathematics whereby a number outside a parenthesis may be distributed to each term inside the parenthesis.

a relation or function that is made up of distinct points. Not connected lines.

A way of testing if a relation is a function. Draw a vertical line; if it hits the relation more than once it is NOT a function.
What is the vertical line test?
The property of mathematics that says that if you multiply a number by 1, the product is the same as the original number.
