  1. Kneeling along the side of the person

  2. Place one hand over top the other

  3. Lock the arms at the elbows

  4. Lean overtop the person so your shoulders are overtop their chest

  5. Position hands between the nipple line on the sternum (chest bone)

  6. Press downward in thrusting motion (going down at least 2 ½ inches) and provide the chest to rise back to original position

  7. Keep hands on chest when performing compressions

  8. Steady beat (1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and etc.)
