Allergy action plan and any medication that is listed on there in case of an allergic reaction.

Any significant injury on a child should be brought to management's attention especially if it was not mentioned by the parent at drop off. This allows us to check in with the family if needed and get more information. It is EXTREMLY important you do NOT jump to conclusions about what you think happened. It could be a situation where the child was hurt here and it was missed by the staff. This allows us to review film and double check before reaching out to the family.

Placing the infant flat on their back with nothing but a binky and sleep sack in the pack and play/crib/bassinet.
*Side note...magic merlin suites, swaddles, and weighted sleep sacks are NOT allowed in childcare centers*

The most important step is administering the Epipen if the child is having a severe allergic reaction. Everyone is trained on how to use these during their first aid/CPR training. If you are in a two teacher classroom the other teacher can walkie management that there is an emergency.
