Samson was brought out to entertain the Philistine crowd. Standing between the pillars of the temple, Samson prayed to the Lord, seeking strength for one final act of vengeance. Samson pushed against the central pillars of the temple, causing it to collapse. He pushed with all his might, and the temple fell on the lords and all the people in it.
