A two-day battle that takes place in Savannah, TN which resulted in approximately 23,000 casualties. Confederates took the field on day 1, however their lead General A.S. Johnston is killed by friendly fire. General Ulysses S. Grant will receive reinforcements on day 2 which will allow him to win the battle and advance to the railroad junctions in Corinth, MS.

A Union General who led his troops in a path of destruction in the Confederate States destroying bridges, crops, livestock, and other resources. They also burned plantations and freed slaves in the process.

From Tennessee. He was a Democrat that ran on a Republican ticket. Took over as president after Lincoln was assassinated. Was responsible for Reconstruction Acts. Was the first impeached president in U.S. History. He was impeached because he overstepped his authority when he disobeyed a law set by a Republican Congress. He was not removed from office, however he missed removal by one vote.
