Apostrophe
when a character speaks their thoughts aloud alone on stage, sharing feelings or ideas directly with the audience. It reveals their inner emotions and conflicts.
The character is usually not speaking to other characters but thinking out loud.
Soliloquy
a short explanation or description that accompanies an image, illustration, or text feature to help readers understand what it shows or means.
Ordinary writing or speech without a regular rhythm or rhyme. It looks like normal sentences and paragraphs, just like in stories or conversations.
Nay, gentle Romeo, we must have you dance.
Prose
add extra information that is closely connected to the sentence and important for understanding, but not essential
Comma
a long speech by one character in a play, telling their thoughts or feelings to other characters or the audience.
monologue
a text feature where words or phrases are printed in thicker, darker letters to make them stand out. It is used to highlight important terms or ideas so readers can quickly notice them.
boldface
Two lines of poetry that have the same rhythm and end with words that rhyme.

Rhyming couplet
add extra details that are less important or just additional notes, so the sentence still makes sense without them
