A tool to save for qualified expenses, invest for future needs, and keep the benefits you rely on every day for anyone who developed a qualifying disability before the age of 26.
People receiving Supplemental Security Income (SSI) will not be affected as long as the balance stays below $100,000.
STABLE account
Assists participants for whom competitive employment is unlikely and who need intensive ongoing support to obtain paid employment and perform in a work setting.

Work Incentives Planning and Assistance (WIPA)
Assists participants in acquiring, retaining, or improving skills related to connecting with others, independent functioning, self-advocacy, socialization, community participation, personal and financial responsibility, and other skills related to optimal well-being as defined in the participant’s person-centered service plan.

What is Employment First?
Allows a participant to share a residence with an unrelated live-in caregiver who provides overnight supervision and necessary personal assistance, or assistance during waking hours, depending on the need of the participant, as an alternative to residential services.
