Fail-Safe:The door will “Unlock” when no door power is applied. This design prioritizes to ensure anyone can exit or enter, especially during emergencies like fire alarms or power outages.

Fail-Secure:The door will “Lock” when door power is lost. This design prioritizes to ensure that doors lock into these area to deny entry during emergencies like fire alarms or power outages. You can exit the doors but cannot egress into these doors.
