If you shine white light through a green filter onto a piece of red paper, what color will the paper appear, and why?

The red paper will appear black when you shine white light through a green filter onto it.

The reason(Many answers):

1.The green filter only allows green light to pass through and blocks all other colors in the white light.

2.Red paper reflects only red light and absorbs all other colors.

3.Since only green light reaches the red paper, and the red paper cannot reflect green light, no light is reflected back to your eyes, so the paper looks black.

Why do we see rainbows after it rains?

We see rainbows after it rains because the air is filled with countless tiny water droplets left behind by the rain. When the sun comes out and shines from behind, its light enters these droplets, it refracts and reflects off the inside surface, and bends again which then makes a rainbow.
