I just uploaded a list of addresses to make a portfolio. Now where do I go?
Action tab to correct any known issues.
What's the difference between a location and a building?
A location is an 'address', which can have multiple buildings.
You notice that a swimming pool covers half of a building, so the system size is over estimated. What do you do?
You edit the deployable area (not the building) by retracing.
I want to rename my portfolio, or change the Buyer Org associated to it.
Go to the Portfolio tab, then 'Edit portfolio'.
Where does a buyer go to see all the portfolios associated with their org?
The Portfolios tab in app.stationa.com.
COE, annual usage, annual peak, and annual bill.
[Show and tell] What if an address won’t geocode correctly even though I added in the address that the buyer gave me?
[x] [Show and tell] "Your analysis is off. Our COE is actually $0.11/kWh."
Edit the COE in the Buildings tab.
If I change any of the 4 pieces of meter data, what happens downstream?
The grade and all the 'scenarios' financial data will recalculate.
[Show and tell] A buyer has a coworker that doesn't have a StA account but probably should. (2 options!)
Their org is called 'Station A'.
Send them the 'org invite link' from the admin app.
Have the buyer get the link themselves via their 'organizations' tab
Do you account for rooftop obstructions in system sizing?
Yes, we assume a 4ft setback plus a 30% reduction in roof area. We can also determine a new deployable area if large parts of the roof are off limits.
If I edited meter data, then retrace the deployable area or building, does the meter data get reset?
The meter data that you had already updated will remain and will not change.
[x] A buyer sends utility bills in a csv for 15 locations. What’s the fastest way to update 15 sites with actual usage?
The bulk edit endpoint!
There's a bunch of COEs listed here. Which one do you use?
First we see if one is present and if not, then we move to the next one.
The order of precedence is:
iou commercial zip code
iou commercial state
non iou commercial zip code
non iou commercial state
Where does system size come from?
1. We calculate the system size based on the buildings that we found and an estimated energy density metric.
2. We then "optimize" the system size to prevent over-exporting to the grid, and optimize again to achieve a higher NPV.
